About us

Scanmine is a result of a research project founded in 2003 by a group of researchers and scientists in Norway, funded by the The Norwegian Research Council and the researchers themselves.

Team

The technology is owned and has been developed by the team of researchers and the company is currently represented in the U.S. and the rollout of the deployment of the technology has started.

Per Einar Arnstad (51)

Founder, MSc in Informatics.
Per Einar has founded several successful software technology startup companies. He has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry from both Silicon Valley and Scandinavia.

Dag Sjøberg (49)

Professor, Ph.D. Department of Informatics, University of Oslo.
Dag is an internationally renown scientist in software engineering and brings to the team his expertice in modelling and development of highly scalable empirical software solutions.

Ulf Geir Indahl (44)

Associate Professor, The Norwegian University of life Sciences.
Associate Professor, Dept. of Mathematical Sciences and Technology - Norwegian University of life Sciences. With his expertise in statistics and pattern recognition, Ulf has provided valuable input to the modeling aspects of the technology.

Tarjei Huse (30)

MSc in informatics, Univeristy of Oslo and General Manager, Scanmine A.S. Norway
Tarjei heads the technology lab in Oslo, Norway, and he is responsible for the deployment of the technology in Scandinavia.
